U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) is applauding a petition filed this week by community groups urging the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to require Chemours Co. to fund PFAS research. The petition asks the EPA to use the authority granted to it under the 2016 overhaul of the Toxic Substances Control Act, which Rep. Hudson helped become law as a member of the Environment Subcommittee in the U.S. House.
