Rep. Richard Hudson Opposes Plan to Remove High Falls Dam in Moore County
Hudson warns removal threatens public safety and water supply. Visits dam with Commissioner Jim VonCannon to showcase the contribution it’s made to the community for over 100 years.
“The High Falls Dam is essential infrastructure” said Rep. Hudson. “I trust Administrator Zeldin will hear the voices of this community and reject the misguided proposal being pushed by outside activists with no understanding of the history and essentials this dam has in Moore County.”
