Like the rest of the country, North Carolina's congressional delegation remains divided on the topic of impeachment. Predictably, those to the left of the aisle are supportive, and those to the right are largely resistant.

Virginia Foxx, has said while she doesn't support "partisan speculation," she does support "good faith efforts that get to the bottom of the whistleblower's allegations." Foxx is a member of the House Oversight Committee, and one of House's more moderate Republicans.
SALISBURY — As U.S. House Democrats announced the opening of an impeachment inquiry Tuesday, Reps. Ted Budd, R-13, and Richard Hudson, R-8, whose districts include parts of Rowan County, said they continue to support President Donald Trump.
Budd called the impeachment inquiry “another fishing expedition” to remove Trump as president. Hudson said Democrats are on “a political vendetta.”
