Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), all artwork for this year's competition will need to be submitted virtually by teachers and school personnel, not students themselves. The new deadline to submit artwork is May 28, 2020.

SALISBURY — In a virtual Small Business Town Hall meeting Tuesday morning, U.S. Reps. Richard Hudson, R-8, and Patrick McHenry, R-10, provided information and guidance on the funding options available from the federal government to businesses impacted by COVID-19.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act — or CARES Act — was signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 27 and includes more than $2 trillion in relief for individual citizens, businesses, education, public health, state and local governments and food security programs.

U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) announced today new senior staff members in his Washington and North Carolina offices. Former District Director Billy Constangy has been named Chief of Staff. Constangy, who has worked for Rep. Hudson for more than three years, will replace outgoing Chief of Staff Chris Carter. Deputy District Director Georgia Lozier will replace Constangy as District Director.
