U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) has announced new guidelines for the annual Congressional Art Competition. Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), all artwork for this year's competition will need to be submitted virtually by teachers and school personnel, not students themselves. The new deadline to submit artwork is May 28, 2020.

Former District Director Billy Constangy has been named Chief of Staff. Constangy, who has worked for Rep. Hudson for more than three years, will replace outgoing Chief of Staff Chris Carter. Deputy District Director Georgia Lozier will replace Constangy as District Director.
