Rep. Hudson Welcomes Alevo to Concord

CONCORD, NC – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) issued the following statement after attending the opening of Alevo Energy at Victory Industrial Park in Concord.

“Today's announcement that Alevo is bringing 2,500 high-skilled, good-paying jobs to Cabarrus County is outstanding news for all of us. We've been hit hard by manufacturing and textile job losses over the past twenty years, and we all remember the heartbreak we felt when Phillip Morris closed its doors.

“To have a rebirth of advanced manufacturing on such a large scale in Concord shows that we can once again be a leader in manufacturing for the entire state. Alevo's announcement is a great step in that direction.”
