Hudson Statement on the Death of Ross Perot

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), Fort Bragg’s Congressman, released the following statement on the death of Ross Perot:

“I’m incredibly sad to hear about Ross Perot’s passing,” said Rep. Hudson. “Mr. Perot was an American entrepreneur, veteran and patriot who truly cared for those who wear America’s uniform. He’s admired here at Fort Bragg because of his tremendous humanitarian efforts and support for our service members, veterans, POWs, and their families. Renee and I send our condolences to his family and pray they’ll find peace knowing Mr. Perot lived a full and selfless life.”

Mr. Perot received an award from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in 2009 for a lifetime of service to veterans and military personnel. In addition to several other awards, honors and accomplishments, Mr. Perot was made an honorary Green Beret at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg in 2009.
