Hudson Statement on March Jobs Report
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the March jobs report which included the largest manufacturing jobs loss since December 2009:
“Our economy is still struggling, and nowhere is this more obvious than in the manufacturing industry which saw the largest jobs loss since December 2009. This is a sucker punch to our economy and a devastating loss to folks who depended on these high-skilled, good-paying jobs for their livelihood. We can do better, but we have to get rid of Washington’s job-killing regulations and advance pro-growth policies that strengthen our economy and empower businesses to grow and compete.”
