WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the Senate impeachment trial:

"Case closed! In just two hours, President Donald Trump's defense team destroyed the flimsy, partisan impeachment case against the President," said Rep. Hudson. "It is crystal clear the only facts in this case support the innocence of the President. Shame on Speaker Pelosi and Adam Shiff for putting the country through this sham impeachment instead of focusing on the issues that matter to the American people.
