Hudson Statement on Anniversary of Boston Marathon Bombing

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), Chairman of the Transportation Security Subcommittee of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee, released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing:

"One year ago today, tragedy struck the Boston Marathon, forever changing the lives of many. Today and next week as runners take to Boston's streets for the 118th Marathon, we will celebrate the extraordinary strength and resilience our community continues to show, proving that no act of terrorism can shatter the American spirit. As we continue to grieve for those we lost, we stand strong together and remember the bravery and heroism of our first responders, bystanders and fellow citizens. Renee and I will continue to pray for the victims and their families."
