Hudson Secures Funds for Fort Liberty

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, following the House's passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, Representative Richard Hudson (NC-09) released the below statement highlighting his priorities included in this spending package.
"As the representative of the largest Army base in the world, I fought hard to make sure this spending package includes big wins for Fort Liberty/Fort Bragg," said Rep. Hudson. "Today's resolution responsibly funds the government and reins in out-of-control spending while prioritizing programs for our veterans, troops, and their families."
Rep. Hudson secured the following funds in the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs portion of the spending package:
- $61 million - Aircraft Maintenance Hangar
- $36 million - Child Development Center
- $50 million - Barracks
- $85 million - Barracks (Facility Prototyping)
- $19.5 million - Automated Record Fire Range
