Hudson Releases Statement on Passing of Former Fayetteville City Councilman Bill Crisp
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the passing of former Fayetteville City Councilman and Army veteran Bill Crisp:
"Renee and I were saddened this morning to learn of the passing of a dedicated public servant in our community, Bill Crisp. Bill Crisp was a dedicated Fayetteville City Councilman, who served our country with distinction. After rising to the rank of command sergeant major in the Army, Crisp served as a mentor to so many in our community. Renee and I send our prayers to the family of Bill Crisp, whose life and public service will remain an inspiration for others."
CSM (Ret.) Bill Crisp served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg for 27 years prior to representing Fayetteville's District 6 on the City Council for 12 years.
