Hudson Receives Champion of the Merit Shop Eagle Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Thursday, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) received the Champion of the Merit Shop Eagle Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas.

“Growing up in North Carolina and working summers for my dad who owned a residential construction company, I learned the value of hard work. I also gained a strong appreciation for the construction industry, the challenges they face and the positive impact they have on our communities. I am honored to accept this award from ABC of the Carolinas for my commitment to building a healthy economy and advancing job creation in our community.”

The Associated Builders and Contractors represents nearly 21,000 members with 70 chapters nationwide.
