Hudson Provides Constituents Emergency Information
CONCORD, N.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath in North Carolina, as well as important emergency resources for constituents:
“Renee and I are heartbroken to see the devastation from Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath in North Carolina,” said Rep. Hudson. “We will continue to pray for those impacted by this deadly storm. I want to especially thank our National Guard troops, first responders, and swift water rescue teams for their tireless work, as well as our utility and clean-up crews and citizens who have stepped in to lend a helping hand. While our community is hurting, I have faith we will get through this together.”
Constituents of North Carolina’s eighth district can find important information, including emergency resources and contact information, here. Additionally, Rep. Hudson reminded residents to heed the directions of local officials and evacuate immediately if instructed to do so. As always, those who experience life-threatening emergencies should call 9-1-1.
