Hudson Pays Tribute to Veterans
CONCORD, N.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement in recognition of Veterans Day:
“Although we are thankful each and every day for our veterans, we set aside Veterans Day to come together with our community to celebrate them. These patriots faithfully served to protect our freedoms, and for that we are eternally grateful. As your Congressman, I will continue working tirelessly to ensure that our active duty troops, our veterans and our military families receive the care and respect they deserve. I consider it my most sacred responsibility.”
As Representative of the Eighth District, Rep. Hudson is committed to ensuring every veteran’s needs are met both in casework and in legislation pending before Congress. He introduced the Care Veterans Deserve Act (H.R. 5262), bipartisan legislation to allow veterans the option of seeking private care in their own communities at the doctor of their own choice.
As always, Rep. Hudson’s Congressional office stands ready to help veterans navigate through the bureaucracy and backlog at the VA. If a veteran in the Eighth District needs assistance, please call 704.786.1612 or visit https://hudson.house.gov/help-with-a-federal-agency1.
