Hudson Introduces Bill to Rename Post Office in Honor of Howard Coble
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) introduced legislation with Rep. Mark Walker (NC-06) to rename a United States Postal Service Office in Greensboro, N.C. as the “J. Howard Coble Post Office Building.” The post office to be renamed is located at 1585 Yanceyville Street. The introduction of this bill comes before what would have been Howard Coble's 87th birthday on March 18th.
“Howard Coble was a proud son of Greensboro who served the people of North Carolina's Sixth District with honor, integrity and kindness,” said Rep. Hudson. “He never met a stranger and set the standard for legendary constituent service. He was a dear friend and mentor, and I work every day to live up to his example. I’m proud to help lead the effort to honor his legacy of service to the people of North Carolina.”
