Hudson Demands Answers from Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last Friday, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) joined his colleagues on the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations to demand answers and investigate the video revealing the Planned Parenthood Senior Director of Medical Services discussing the illegal sale of fetal body parts.

“I was absolutely appalled and disgusted by the barbaric actions discussed in this video. Our country has no place for such heartless indifference for life, and our tax dollars should not be used to perpetuate these and other gruesome practices embraced by Planned Parenthood. Life is the most sacred, precious gift from God that begins at conception, and I will continue to fight to protect it and hold these bad actors accountable.”

In the first of many steps to investigate this appalling situation, the Committee on Energy and Commerce sent a letter to Planned Parenthood demanding information and a briefing regarding the organization’s practices relating to fetal tissue collection and sale or donation.
