Hudson Attends Gov. Holshouser Funeral

RALEIGH-U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement after attending former Governor Holshouser’s funeral in Raleigh.

“Today we remembered and honored one of the greatest public servants our state has ever known: former North Carolina Governor Jim Holshouser. Governor Holshouser committed his life to public service and the Tar Heel state is better off because of his passion for education and his dedication to our community. He will always be remembered for his humor, his accomplishments with the University of North Carolina education system and his love for our great state. During this sad time, my thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family and loved ones.”
