Hudson Announces New Leadership Chief of Staff

Morehouse brings 14 years of Hill experience to new role


WASHINGTON, D.C.
– Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-09) announced he has named Jeff Morehouse as Leadership Chief of Staff. 

“I am very pleased that Jeff is joining our team in this leadership role,” said. Rep. Hudson. “I am confident his character, political acumen, and many years of experience on Capitol Hill will be a huge benefit to our team and the people we serve.”

Prior to joining Hudson’s office, Morehouse served as the Managing Director of Government Affairs at ClearPath for nearly seven years and has 14 years of previous experience working in the House of Representatives. For six years, Morehouse served as Chief of Staff for former Texas Rep. Bill Flores, member of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce, and Chairman of the Republican Study Committee in the 114th Congress. In addition, he was previously Legislative Director and Appropriations Associate for former Texas Rep. John Culberson and served other roles for Rep. Culberson since 2003.

Morehouse will replace Billy Constangy who now serves as Executive Director of Team Johnson, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s political office.
