Hudson comes to town

U.S. Representative Richard Hudson, from North Carolina’s 8th Congressional district, will be at the Richmond County Agriculture Service Center from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Hudson began the farm tour at the Union County Agricultural Center Monday morning. The tour consists of nine stops in three days, from Jan. 28 until Jan. 30.

Hudson will be meeting with local farm bureaus to provide a legislative update on the Farm Bill and speak with farmers about the most important issues facing the agriculture community.

Tuesday, January 29

Hagler Farms on 1760 Old Maxton Rd., in Laurinburg, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Robeson County Agriculture stop at 302 Bailey Rd., in Lumberton, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 30

Rowan County Farm Bureau at 304 Birdie Drive, in Salisbury, from 11:00 a.m. until noon.
