Congressman Richard Hudson Explains Gun Policy Going Through Congress in Free Beacon Interview

March 22, 2018

Representative Richard Hudson (R., N.C.), the sponsor of the national gun-carry reciprocity bill that passed the House earlier this year, met with the Washington Free Beacon to discuss the various pieces of gun legislation making their way through Congress right now.

The congressman talked about major pieces of legislation like Fix NICS, STOP School Violence, and National Concealed Carry Reciprocity. He described his ideal package of legislation to address school shootings and other violence. And he talked about how pro-gun measures like national reciprocity or silencer reform fit into the picture.

After sharing his thoughts on the state of federal gun legislation, Rep. Hudson spent some time with the Free Beacon on the range.
