Hudson Works to Prevent Harmful Effects of Obamacare and Government Shutdown
WASHINGTON- Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) voted for a Continuing Resolution that keeps the government open for business, delays Obamacare for one year, and repeals the medical device tax. In the event that the government is subject to a shutdown, the House passed a measure today that ensures troops are paid no matter what.
“I’m pleased the House convened this weekend and sent the Senate a Continuing Resolution that protects the American people from the harmful effects of both Obamacare and a government shutdown,” said Rep. Hudson. It’s time for Harry Reid and Senate Democrats to come back to work to keep the government open for business.”
