Hudson Votes to Unleash American Innovation
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) voted for the American Research and Competitiveness Act (H.R. 880) to simplify and make permanent the research & development tax credit.
“From the Wright Brothers’ first flight in Kitty Hawk to the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, our state is no stranger to entrepreneurial spirit and groundbreaking innovators. Unfortunately, the divide between what works for innovation and the policies coming out of Washington continues to grow deeper. Today’s legislation to make it easier for businesses to invest in research and development is a commonsense solution to unleash innovation, foster competitiveness and spur job creation in North Carolina.”
