Hudson Tours Racing Electronics in Concord
CONCORD, N.C. - Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) toured Racing Electronics, a local small business that has grown into the worldwide leader in providing radio communications products to the motorsports industry.
"It's no secret that Concord's economic ties to the racing industry run deep, and it's important to highlight businesses like Racing Electronics that foster that success. I’m so impressed with the ingenuity displayed by Racing Electronics – they now employee upwards of 75 employees in high-skilled jobs right here in our community.
“While Racing Electronics has thrived over the last several years, they still face challenges in the form of government regulations and burdens like Obamacare's employer mandate, which has forced them to cut back on employees’ hours. As Representative of the eighth district, I am deeply invested in advancing policies and regulatory reforms that cut the red tape and ensure local manufacturers like Racing Electronics remain competitive, grow and create jobs.”
