Hudson Statement on E.U. Decision to Nullify Safe Harbor Agreement
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, released the following statement in response to the decision by the European Union to invalidate the Safe Harbor Agreement:
“This unfortunate decision creates a wave of uncertainty for American companies operating in Europe, which ultimately effects American workers and consumers everywhere. While there has been progress on negotiations, it’s my hope that the administration and the European Union can quickly come to a new agreement for the sake of jobs and commerce.”
