Hudson Applauds NFL's Investment in Concussion Research

Today U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), a leader on the Energy and Commerce Committee, released the following statement after the National Football League (NFL) announced it will invest $16.3 million to the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) to support traumatic brain injury and concussion research. Last September, Rep. Hudson visited the Carolina Panthers to discuss his efforts to increase collaboration and advance the understanding of concussions, as well as the steps being taken by the Panthers and the NFL to reduce injuries.
